Our Story

Where the framework came from

aha! Talent Experts exists to help you stop guessing and start hiring with intention. Not just anyone who can do the job, but people who belong on your team, share your values, and want to grow with you.

The path to this work started long before the company launched in 2012. As a former Massage Envy Spa franchise owner, Andrea Hoffer lived the daily reality of hiring across a busy location, and she felt the cost of getting it wrong: wasted time, expensive turnover, and tools that only ever scratched the surface.

That frustration became an obsession with one question: what if hiring could be not just easier, but better?

The roots go back further. Andrea's great aunt, Dr. Bertha Friedman, earned a doctorate in child psychology in the 1930s. Her dissertation, "Foundations of the Measurement of Values," planted a lifelong curiosity about what drives people and how to match them with the environments where they thrive.

Armed with an MBA, a background in people development, and years in the operator's seat, Andrea built the DREAM Hire Framework™ to answer that question in a way any operator could use. Not a theory. A system.
